Grab a hand full of napkins and pass the sauce! It looks like it’s going to be a deliciously good summer. Hog Heaven is about to bring back the party to the beach side of life.  The coasts newest restaurant and night spot is opening in Biloxi in April. The brainchild of Ray Wooldridge of RW Development and Brandon Wooldridge of BW Development promises to offer the best in live entertainment, food and drinks on the coast.
Located at the corner of Beach Blvd. and Veterans Avenue is a building that is getting a makeover and a lot of spicing up. The partners in this project started Big Play Family Fun Center on the same property over a year ago and are now ready to expand the business to accommodate the dining needs of their patrons. With a great menu and two full bars Hog Heaven promises to be the new “in” spot for beach life. Packages for families will include food along with games of miniature golfing fun for all.
By day, Hog Heaven will be a place where families can gather, business professionals can discuss deals over lunch and sun tanned bathers can walk over from the beach for a cold daiquiri or margarita. By night, the mood will decidedly change to a club atmosphere around 10 o’clock. The huge 2000+ square foot deck promises to offer balmy breezes to those who like the salt air nights of summer. “The draw for us is going to be the fact that we will have a giant beer selection, handmade pizzas and great desserts on our menu. We will run specials on food and there will be a daily happy hour. Guests can book parties for any occasion and designated drivers will always get free coffee refills,” said Brandon Wooldridge.
Special events at Hog Heaven will be posted on the restaurants Facebook page and you will be able to follow the up-to-the-minute happenings on Twitter. The open-air venue for music will be the first of its kind in the area since Hurricane Katrina and local bands are welcome to discuss booking with Brandon Wooldridge by calling him at Big Play @228-388-7529.
Inside the restaurant, patrons will find it easy to relax and catch a game on the televisions strategically placed for diners’ enjoyment. Seating capacity is about 65 inside and 120 outside with eclectic décor and a few very meaningful pieces throughout the building. “We have pieces of history here that come from the coast and New Orleans. We want people to see the uniqueness of what we are offering so we took time to choose some parts of our décor that will really give folks a feeling of home and relaxation,” said Brandon.
Hog Heaven is now taking applications for all positions and band bookings. You must visit the RW Development offices at 234 Caillavet Street in Biloxi to apply. The website is
